this is not the filter you want for a VW M6 GTI or Golf R
I noticed several reviews about the Bosch 77111WS Workshop Fuel Filter being installed and the fuel pump runs constantly.This is because this filter lacks a pressure regulator.if you have a turbo VW or Audi, you'll need a fuel filter with an internal pressure regulator (6.6 bar).Try the Bosch 1K0201051K.Cost about twice as much but will solve your problem

after installing it, my car was loosing power every traffic light and in between. no pressure. i paid little extra and purchased a better one. and now my vehicle drives smooth with no problem. so i returned it back.
