They are super thin. I bought two sets of these to help with the noise at my new apartment. The light blocking part is great and the noise blocking is so-so. I can still hear the train horn clear as a whistle, but I can’t hear the highway noise as much. So 5 stars for light blocking - more like 3 for noise cancellation.

I work nights and have 2 large windows in my room- over the years I have tried several different brands of blackout curtains and these are the first that I have found that make my bedroom basically as dark as night. I will say that if it is extremely sunny out, I am able to see tiny specks of light come through some of the stitching on the curtains, but this doesn't bother me (it just looks like little sparkles on the curtains). Otherwise, it is dark enough in my room that I need to turn on a light or open the curtains to see to even walk around in the room. I believe these curtains work so well because the lining that faces outside is black (which is great for the purpose of these curtains, but may be a deal breaker for those who prefer all their windows to have the same color curtains when viewing the house from the outside). If you are looking for a curtain that insulates, I would say these seem to keep the room a little cooler- but other curtains I have tried seem to be better at insulating as these are a little on the thin side compared to other light blocking curtains. If you're more concerned with insulating a room than blocking light, I would go with a different brand. Otherwise, these are excellent curtains, especially for the price. They work 100% better at blocking light than some much more expensive brands I have tried in the past.

The media could not be loaded.  If you want to find good black out curtains without spending an arm and a leg, these are it! I bought them for my twins nursery. I found they always took better naps on days with a lot of overcast bc their nursery was obviously darker than on sunny days. The curtains I had in there previously were much more sheer and did not do a very good job at blocking out sunlight. I hung the black out ones up and was totally surprised how well they worked! The only light that now comes in is where the 2 panels separate (which can be fixed with curtain magnets). The pink color is beautiful and it was wrinkle free.

These curtains are a vast improvement over just blinds or nothing at all but cannot be considered total blackout. They have grommet holes and are meant for a straight curtain rod (not blackout rods which curve around at the corners so light doesn’t peak out from the sides) so you’re going to see some light around the top and sides. Also, unless you already have blinds installed and drawn shut behind these curtains, you’ll see pinholes of light coming through them. If not, it kind of looks like glitter as you move past them. They do a good job of blocking heat from direct sunlight and your room will feel noticeably cooler. They come pretty much wrinkle free and you can get away with hanging them right out of the packaging. However, these do absolutely nothing for sound reduction so I don’t know why they’re advertised as “soundproof.” This shouldn’t be a deal breaker as they do darken the room significantly but shouldn’t be included as a selling point.

Worth the money, it really blocks lights, heavy fabric. We loved it.Highly recommend it

I needed black-out curtains, and wanted them in navy blue. These curtains came up on a Daily Deal in Amazon, and I was delighted to find them in various colors and sizes. They are great curtains for the price. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I wanted the 'rings' to be in bronze rather than silver.

I ordered the pink. It's quite a bit darker and more muted due to the black behind the curtains

Amazing curtains. Literally slept about 2.5 hours more then usual on the weekend. The quality is great, this time I went for short curtains. I always order this brand. But usually get long ones. Well im not disappointed at all! I love them sooo much as well!

Perfect color match, fast shipping, take a cool iron to the seam on the bottom so it is super flat (iron on BACK SIDE). place rod it least 6" above window frame and 6 to 12" past the window, this will let you fully open up your window when you want the natural light coming in, and the black out works better this way as well. Stunning, I just love them.

These curtains do block light very well. The dimensions were perfect for the windows on which they were installed. Would recommend these curtains.
