Universal Replacement Remote Control Fit For Samsung AH59-01778F AH59-01778J DVD Home Theater System

So far so good, it works with my Samsung ht-tx75.DVD Home Theater System, and while it's not as good as a factory remote, it still works with the unit, I'm happy with it so far, but there is no replacement for the original Samsung remote.

It isn't an exact replacement to my remote. It works for the basic functions but does not provide all the functionality of my original remote. I thought I was buying the same model but it was a different model #.

This remote is listed as a replacement for the Samsung AH59-01778F but it lacks some important controls of the Samsung original, notably the Dolby mode and effect controls. The remote is the only way to access these controls HT-X50 and I definitely need access to these functions. What functionality is available on this remote works fine, so two stars instead of one.

I have the Samsung HTX-50 home theater system. Recently the original remote finally decided to quit working. Contacted Samsung Customer service who directed me to their parts department and back and forth until I was told my only option was to purchase an expensive Samsung Universal remote. Searched on amazon and took a risk ordering this product with no reviews. Worked great and as expected! Shipping came sooner than estimated as well.

Horrible replacement for original remote which looked almost identical.The first thing I noticed was that the buttons feel was different and had to press the buttons several times before it worked. It's nowhere near the quality of the original remote I had and was barely worked.The only thing I am thankful for is that the original remote somehow started working again a week after I received this.
