Military Surplus5 x Pairs British Army Soft Comfortable Desert Socks

Living in the Republic of Ireland, around 50% of products (and 100% of anything vaguely edible) is unavailable for us to buy.These were, until now, on that list.When I lived in the UK, I bought a dozen pairs of these, they are simply the best socks available. Worn with proper army desert boots, there is nothing more comfortable to walk in. Let's face facts, the army kinda know what they are doing in this respect!Out of the dozen, I still have three pairs in use. Unfortunately somehow the remainder were lost. The three pairs I have are now 10 years old, and still going strong!So I was very pleased to see the embargo of these socks to Ireland lifted.Just buy them. None of the other "army" socks on here are real army socks. These are the real army issue deal.I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

These socks are comfortable and suitable for walking in for a long period. They are thicker than I expected but ideal for boots. Appear as new after multiple washes.

Comfortable and kept feet breathing and not too sweaty, I bought a set liked them so I got some more. I had trouble with the delivery on the second set but as soon as I contacted the seller they got onto it and sent a replacement no problems so five stars to the seller. I’ve given the socks four stars as they are a tiny bit roomy if you’re a size 9 but this is expected for a 7-11 fitting sock

The socks are okay (but not for warmth) please be aware they are about £5 a pair or more. Five stars for over price.

Really good quality warm durable socks can be worn all year round . Best with boots or walking shoes.

Opposite side of the label not sown in the photograph states: 73% Polyester, 12% Cotton, 10% Nylon, 5% Elastane. 40 degree Warm wash, Full action , wash as cotton. Made in China.The listing says hand wash only but the label on the socks says machine washable, Warm and comfy socks but they shrink unevenly after machine washing so the size and fit can become inconsistent. My size 7 - 10 socks were quite baggy on my size 8 feet and there is an elasticated band between the heel and toe which i found can cause the toe to bunch up as I put my boots on if I wasn't very careful.

These socks are the REAL deal. Genuine issue. Great seller very fast delivery. I wear them spring summer autumn winter. VERY comfortable. Long lasting, wash well, no shrinking. I have ordered a few times and still my first socks order is going strong, not one hole or fault. Won't wear any other socks. Great fit for my big size 13 feet. Well worth buying.
