Super Moisturizing & Silky Smooth
If silky smooth skin is what you crave, this is what you need. It's a big bag of shea butter softened just a bit with almond oil. Just pull out a little of this and work it into your skin. It will take a little bit more work than a bottle of your favorite body lotion, but the results make the few extra minutes so worthwhile. Kind of like a good almond butter, but much richer in oils. The skin will stay a little bit oily feeling for about a hour, but you can pat the excess off if you prefer. I never do, except when using on my hands just so that I can touch things without leaving a trail behind. Give it a little time and it will absorb and you won't need to bother. There's nothing like a good raw shea butter for making your skin feel like silk. The almond oil included seems to make the butter a little bit softer than those that don't contain almond oil. Makes for easier application. In fact, I'm sure that's why this does leave a little bit of an oily surface compared to the others. Almond oil is also great for the skin, so it's good to have them both working together on the skin. You get plenty in this bag. It's actually double bagged to ensure a clean arrival and experience. Both bags are made of a thick plastic. There are also a couple recipes on the back of the bag for other skin and hair formulas. You really can't go wrong with this stuff. Your skin will love you for it.

Good Quality; Well Packaged
I have been using shea butter for years. I like to make my own homemade deodorant, body butter and beard balm for my husband with it. There are a myriad of uses for shae butter. This is, however, the first time I have ever used a shea butter that has included almond oil along with it. This gives it a slightly more sweet scent to it but other than that you can't really tell a difference between straight shea butter and this. However, this does feel a little more soft. The quality of this shea butter is good. It is soft feeling and is not overly solidified, which can sometimes happen to shea butter that has been overly processed and not quite as fresh. It smells delicious and rich, the way shea butter should. The packaging was done very well. The shea butter is inside of a vacuum sealed clear plastic bath is plastic bag inside of inside of the main package. I will point out that the product description picture shows the shea butter as a yellow butter in a nice rectangular brick like form but what you receive is quite different. It isn't quite as pretty in person but the function is still the same.

Highly recommend
I rarely write a review. But this shea butter is absolutely top quality and lush. We've purchased some shea butter from other sellers before but nothing can compare to this shea butter. It's so moisturising, the smell is not too overpowering like other shea butter.I mixed it with some argan oil and it keeps my face and body soft and supple whole day. Obviously you need a little top up after you wash your hands or have been sitting in a heated room for a while. This shea butter is all natural, what not to love.. We'll not purchase any other brands again. Please don't stop making this. Thank you very much.

Ordered in summer? Let it resolidify before you open it!
This is a great base that you can use as is, or add some more stuff to for a custom skincare routine. It's good quality and does everything it's supposed to do. It's a little different because it also has some almond oil in it...so if that's something you usually add, alter your recipe to compensate. It's easy to work with and goes well in the recipes I've put it in so far!
