No lag, the quality is decent, picture quality is great etc. I have yet to try the streaming capability as my current PC isn't powerful enough.

The capture quality is great when working to capture PS4 or PS5 gameplay but let down by how fiddly it can be to get everything working to a point where my daughter has given up streaming. A lot of leads and cables have to be used to capture the headphones sound (we don't use the default hdmi sound), but this means switch to the aux audio input isn't on by default and is a total pain to get working.

Elgato are still top notch after all these years. Finally bit the bullet and bought one of my own after borrowing an older model in the past, and it's worth the extra you pay for this over some other brands. Easy to use, great quality.

I bought this to use my laptop as a screen for my Xbox in my camper van. It does just that and the latency lag is not noticeable. I’ve also used it to record some gameplay and with the right settings the results are great. Just note if you’d like to capture game chat audio on Xbox, you will need the chat link pro! This will also not capture your own voice through the headset. But I’ve bought a microphone to do that for better quality than a headset with chat link pro.

I finally upgraded from my old HD60 which I had for years and sadly became outdated. I decided to stay with elgato due to their previous quality.I was not disappointed with this product, the 0ms latency leaves you with a real time recording, not really having to sync up your audio anymore (unless you use a camera). The picture quality is very good, I've used it on both Mac and Windows and have experienced no issues at all.It is very easy to set up (I use it with my Xbox Series S). It does not impact the gameplay or display, it is like its not there.Is it worth nearly £200? Probably not, I waited for this to go on sale (anything around £150 is worth it!). But overall this product is a must buy if you are looking into streaming or recording!

Does what you want it to do for streaming on platforms

A very good capture card. Had a cheap one before and it had problems which put me off from investing in another. But as they say, you get what you pay for. The connection and software works great and the footage is excellent. Can't recommend enough...but as time of writing this, an updated model has been released. If your budget allows it, consider newer model...if not, this one works great for current consoles.
