The Billionaire's Obsession: The Complete Collection: Mine for Tonight, Mine for Now, Mine Forever, Mine Completely

I fell in love with THE BILLIONAIRE’S OBSESSION from page one and I immediately "1-clicked" the complete boxset after reading the free first installment of the trilogy. This is another one of those free downloads that had been collecting "dust" on my kindle because I had so many others ahead of it on my TBR list, and I'm so glad I finally got around to it! I never had the pleasure of reading this author’s books before, so discovering her, and this adorable erotic romance series, has been a total joy. J.S Scott is an incredibly gifted writer and I can see why The Billionaire’s Obsession series is such a success. While the “mega wealthy tycoon rescuing the penniless damsel in distress” concept has certainly been done before, the unique execution of this story, engaging chemistry between the hero and heroine, smoldering sensuality, charming prose, deep-rooted emotion, and quirky characterizations make this story really stand out. I adored both Simon and Kara, but for obvious reasons, the hero's depiction was a true highlight of the book for me. I mean who can resist a hot, hunky billionaire genius with a serious savior complex? Sure he may have been stalking heroine for over a year, but it was always out of concern for her welfare, never malice, and when she finds herself in dire straits, he swoops to the rescue and finally gets to fulfill his fantasy of one unforgettable night of pleasure with the woman of his dreams. Which leads to another and another…. Although the beleaguered nursing student/waitress initially refuses to take his charity, Kara’s big-hearted rescuer charms her into accepting his help and she is soon irresistibly drawn in by his sweet chivalry and temping, hotly demanding kisses. There isn't anything the besotted billionaire won't do for his sweetly fetching houseguest—in bed and out. When Kara discovers he has some serious control issues in the bedroom, stemming from physical and emotional scars that run deep, instead of running away or nagging him to tell her what happened, she gently and tenderly helps him confront his fears and eventually encourages him to see himself through her eyes. He may think he's damaged goods, unworthy of love and happiness, but she's never met anyone more magnificent. Just like Kara, I found Simon’s gruff awkwardness and odd personality quirks to be quite charming, and his desperate attempts to please the heroine only endeared him more to me. I actually love how flawed this hero is because, quite frankly, a perfect hero is kinda boring. His paranoid hang ups, deep seated insecurities, and borderline obsessive attachment to the heroine are all borne out a painful past trauma that shaped his life forever, and I ached with compassion for him. But his "issues" sure don't have a negative impact on his raging libido! This Alpha man is positively insatiable in the bedroom and his lust for heroine clearly knows no bounds. The sex scenes are scorching hot and oh so plentiful, but I never thought they were gratuitous in nature. And all their love encounters are tinged with a deep underlying tenderness that melted my heart. There are just so my beautiful, poignant moments that transpire between this duo in this book, and I don’t want to spoil anything, but suffice it to say, they left me aching with emotion. Bottom line: I literally couldn't get enough of this adorable couple, from start to finish, and the HEA truly had me sighing in delight. The author also did a great job of incorporating Simon's brother Sam and Kara’s best friend Maddie into the plot, providing the appropriate amount of juicy backstory about their stormy romantic past to whet readers' appetites for their upcoming story in HEART OF THE BILLIONIARE. The first two chapters of The Billionaire's Obsession ~ Sam are actually cleverly incorporated into the “Mine Completely” bonus Valentine-themed novella,” included in this box set, which revolves around Kara and Simon’s upcoming nuptials. I only have a couple of tiny quibbles with this otherwise flawless collection. I found the narrative a tad repetitive at times, and thought the characters, especially the hero, used curse words too much. Let me be clear: I have no problem with profanity, and get how it can be used to lend gritty authenticity to a character and emphasize emotion, but when it's used constantly, it loses impact and can distract the reader from the scene. Less is more in my opinion. But other than those two nitpicky things, this book is pure perfection and I am now a serous fan girl of J.S. Scott’s work.

Loved this story !!! I am in love with Simon and Kara !! Kara is such a strong character in this story. And Simon has issues !!! But with Kara's love he works through them !! A wonderful love story !! I highly recommend this book it is such a different kind of story line !! One I have not seen and I have read a lot of books !!!! Need to read !!

*may contain spoilers This book or should I series of short novels are very similar to that of 50 Shades of Grey, but shorter page number wise. similarities: one of the wealthiest men had a tramatic childhood that left him determined, domineering, and self-concience of his scars. He falls for a girl who doesnt have much money but is a very hard worker and hasn't had much of a love life. She says "I love you" first. They live together almost insantly. shes uncomfortable with how much money he has/spends on her. Best friend and brother had/have a connection/are together. Both controlling and jealous. Differences: Its not full novels but a series of short stories. They dont rush their relationship, instead of a couple month relationship its more like a year. He's not as uncompromising as christian. Its more of a light erotic read, not much BDSM, like they just have a lot of sex. Although the stories are similar in many ways, this one will probably be better for those that found 50 shades a little much. But besides it feeling more realistic in terms of how long their relationship was before it got more serious, I REALLY love that its all togther in one purchase and I didnt have to buy these short stories seperatly. Good, fun, light, erotic, and sexy.

I couldn't put it down. Simon and Kara are great together. Heart touching. I read it all in a few hours and was captivated. This was my first time reading a book by this author and I was not disappointed. Will look for others by this author. Just the right amount of sex with a touching story.

I loved this series and thrilled to get the collection altogether at such a great price. My heart went out to unlucky nursing student Kara who was holding down a full-time waitressing job too. Thankfully she has a guardian angel in Billionaire Simon Hudson who makes her an offer she can't refuse. Simon steps in to save her and ends up changing his reclusive lonely life at the same time. This is an erotic romance with steamy love scenes and lots of emotion. Loved their first liaison together in Simons kitchen which paved the way for more exciting toe curling steamy graphics. Brilliant.

First, I don't like 3rd person but other then that I was an okay book. I know I don't go by reviews because some people don't like what I like so this is just my take on it. I like Simon but he is a little too high strung for my taste. I think it is too much like 50 shades in the way of him not liking to be touched. As a writer myself I feel like there is so many ways to give the main guy an edge and its not by going off another best seller. Kara was okay. Like 50 shades Ana (but more over the top and stubborn) she has to fight against everything Simon does for her. Im not saying I wouldn't be a little put off by a stranger wanting to do so much for me but geez. She is almost rude about it. I also don't like that there isn't much talking between anyone in the whole book. We are either in Kars head or Simons. Where is the conversations? It wasn't a horrible book but it is too much like other books I have read. I don't think I will be ordering the other books.

I have had this one on my to read list but never ordered it ( maybe it was the cheesy cover) I do like my romance books to have a good storyline. I'm glad I gave in and gave it a chance LOVED IT!!!! The story was great and I loved the characters. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover clique is correct.

I love the story line but was disappointed in the length of the book. I thought I was getting 4 books in one, and while I did, the whole book is smaller than what I expected for a complete series in one. It's still worth the read!
