This looked like the perfect problem to solve a noise issue, but unfortunately it would not work on our window. I requested a refund, but got no response and contacted Amazon customer service, who said they’d get the seller on it. Two days later I got something from the seller asking for detailed pictures and explanation on why the curtain didn’t work. I explained that the problem is that the window connection where the unit opens and closes is too high, so the curtain can’t lay flat and, with the curtain over the window, how can that be documented? Today they offered me a 30% refund because their shipping costs are high and “there is a risk of loss in shipping”. You decide if you would want to buy from this seller😖

I really love these Sound Dampening Curtains; they've greatly improved my sleep.

As soon as it started to get a little warm outside (around 75F) these began to crumble. The black side was literally turning to ash and they left a very strong chemical smell in our kids’ rooms. After taking these out of their windows, it still felt dangerous to even breathe in their rooms until a few hours of trying to air it out.
