An excellent washer.
This is an excellent washer, and is the antidote to the front-loader religion in the U.K. I hate front-loaders: they drag on for hours for one load and they don't hold much.Mine is slightly different from the one in the picture, but they are very similar.The main drawback is that you have to press the START button about 20 times to get it going. That is very annoying. Usually, I have to pull the plug out of the socket to get it to start at all. I had the previous model Whirlpool top-loader, and it had a KNOB that you turned to the START position, and it started immediately. But parts for that became unavailable and I had to get a new one. The other drawback is that it has no second rinse setting, so I have to repeat the wash program to rinse all the detergent off. That is because of all the phoney environment stuff. But I can live with those drawbacks.My general rule: Refuse ALL updates. Every update is a degredation.

Company/Product let down by a sloppy delivery
Washing Machine arrived on one of the two days forecast. ( we asked for a quick warning call, we are 82) No call came and it arrived and was "dumped" in the kitchen. We then had to contact neighbours, in the middle of Covid Restrictions to help us to move it into place. Pity because it is a very nice machine which is replacing our 25 yr old MAYTAG washer.

Worse than it's predecessor
Had about a month hoping it would be better than the earlier model which was constantly breaking down.The on /off button is a nightmare doesn't even turn off or on properly .I have to switch it off at the mains to get it to work and then it starts half way through the wash .It really hates being asked to do a 2nd wash ,it just makes banging noises all the time until it resets overnight.A disgrace for £1200 ,I am going to send it back

Excellent machine , had the previous model for 20 years, so expected the best.Delivered on its side, and dented.Everybody let down, Amazon,Whirlpool,us, by using inexperienced delivery system.Cheapest man and van, that will do.Driver told me he had never seen a washing machine that big,
